The Plain Works Content Pipeline
The Plain Works Content Pipeline is the studio’s internal publishing tool. It turns our own researched, fact-checked source material into publish-ready posts — written threads, card graphics, and short- and long-form video — and, after a single human review and approval, publishes each piece to The Plain Works’ own social media accounts. It is operated by our team to run our own channels; it is not a product offered to third parties and does not act on accounts we do not own.
What it does
- Gathers source material from public feeds and our own research, then drafts a candidate story.
- Produces the assets — a written post for X and LinkedIn, news-style card graphics, and short/long-form video.
- Waits for one human approval. A member of our team reviews the finished piece and approves it. Nothing is published automatically without that review.
- Publishes to our own channels on approval — YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok accounts owned by The Plain Works.
Connected services and why we request access
The pipeline connects only to accounts we own, and requests the minimum access needed to publish content we have approved.

How we handle Google user data
We use the youtube.upload permission solely to upload videos we have produced and approved to our own YouTube channel. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not use it to train generalized AI/ML models, and do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide this feature or as required by law. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions.
